Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about training with MP Strength & Conditioning.
Every session is structured around your program. You'll go through a warm-up tailored to the day's work, then move into your main lifts with coaching on technique, tempo, and progression. Sessions typically run 60 minutes and are focused entirely on quality movement and measurable progress.
The standard for 1-on-1 coaching is 3 sessions per week. In some cases, 2x/week may be appropriate depending on your goals and situation. Consistency is the most important factor — we'll find a frequency that works for you and build from there.
No. Whether you're brand new to strength training or you've been at it for years, programming is built around where you are right now. The coaching is individualized — your starting point doesn't matter as much as your willingness to show up and work.
1-on-1 is fully individualized — just you and Matt, every session, with programming built entirely around your goals. Semi-Private is small-group training (2–4 people) with structured programming and progression at a lower per-session cost. Both deliver quality coaching; the difference is the level of individual attention and investment.
Online programming is delivered through ABC Trainerize. You receive a structured program with progression tracking, exercise demos, and optional nutrition support. You train on your own schedule with remote coaching support.
Training sessions range in cost between $90–115/session for 1-on-1 coaching, depending on commitment length and structure. Semi-Private rates range from $40–55/session depending on group size.
